In honor of her 30th birthday, Monica McCoy (Maryam Basir) is looking forward to spending some quality time with her childhood friends, and loving father, Mike McCoy (Michael Colyar) for the Christmas holiday. They have a very close relationship, the kind that most little girls would dream about. They openly converse about her dating experiences as he provides guidance only a man can give his daughter. Unfortunately, her recent horrific dating encounters have caused her to lose hope and Monica believes that she is cursed and will never find "the one."Mike's guilty conscious about his antecedent relationship indiscretions has actually culminated into a spell which is indeed the cause of Monica's isolated love interactions. This curse took place 30 years prior when a young Summer St. John (B. Simone), Mike's mistress became enraged when he refused to leave Monica's mother for her. She was so full of disdain that she spoke a curse of heartache into existence over the life of his unborn daughter on her 30th birthday.On the day of her birthday Monica instantly falls in love with a chauvinistic philandering comedian named Wild Bill (Kountry Wayne). The total opposite of what she prefers in a man but identical to her father's previous mindset. Much to her friends and her father's dismay they plan to unite very quickly in holy matrimony. After reconnecting with Summer (LisaRaye McCoy) to make amends and elicit a solution to prevent Monica and Wild Bill's union, they discover that Mike has to seek forgiveness from the other female conquests that he has hurt from his past in order to break the spell. This hilariously funny and talented cast also includes AJ Johnson (House Party), Kenneth Wayne (Sinners Wanted), and celebrity influencer Jay Nicole (That Girl Jay Nicole).
